MIRAIT Technologies Australia Announces $90 million Telstra contract win Telecommunications infrastructure group, MIRAIT Technologies Australia, is pleased to announce it has been awarded the Design and Construction contract for the Proactive Pit program by Telstra. The program covers the entire eastern states of Australia, and is estimated by MIRAIT to be worth up to $90m over the 3 year contract.
MIRAIT Technologies Australia is a specialist telecommunications infrastructure construction and maintenance company. A subsidiary of the full service telecommunication infrastructure provider MIRAIT Technologies Corporation, a division of the MIRAIT Group based in Japan.
Formed in 2014, the new entity brings to the Australian market the capabilities and experience of the Mirait Technologies Corporation, an organisation that has delivered projects in over 60 countries, including over 10 million Fibre connections within Japan, and is a nationwide operations and maintenance delivery partner for the telco giant NTT.
Commenting on winning this significant contract, Mirait Technologies Australia CEO, Kerry White said, “We are very pleased to be awarded this contract, as it is a clear recognition of Mirait’s capabilities, and confirms our continued expansion in the infrastructure communications construction and operations and maintenance market.”
