CEO End of the year message
As the year draws to a close, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on 2024 and thank you all for your contributions over the past 12 months, but more importantly, I am looking forward to 2025.
The new year promises both opportunities and fresh challenges. Our continued focus remains firmly on health and safety, our people, and identifying and securing avenues for business growth in Telco, along with diversification through the development of Mirait Energy.
Mirait experienced significant growth over the past year. It was a year in which the business further expanded and strengthened relationships with existing clients and developed new business sectors across.
A notable contribution to Mirait’s 2024 success was the awarding to Mirait by Telstra the high-profile pit remediation program (CNI). The continuation of the CNI program shows the confidence Telstra has in Mirait’s capability to deliver this high-profile national program of work successfully.
The evolution of technology continues to bring forward numerous opportunities. The highlight is our leadership role in designing, constructing, and maintaining LEO satellite ground stations across Australia. Our work for SpaceX and Amazon positions us as a key player in this sector, aligning with our clients' ambitious LEO rollout plans slated for continued expansion in 2025.
The ongoing Project Horizon for Vocus, scheduled for completion in June 2025, remains a significant endeavour. Despite its challenges, our team has shown remarkable resilience, ensuring the successful delivery of Vocus’s 900km optical fibre network in Western Australia.
This year was the introduction of our Employee Recognition Awards, which celebrated the individuals who truly embody our values of Teamwork, Respect, Accountability, and Customer Focus. These awards are an opportunity to spotlight the dedication and hard work that drives Mirait forward daily. Congratulations again to all our award winners.
There is certainly more to share, such as our 2025 strategy and our plan for growth and development. I will leave this for now and present it personally as part of my CEO catchups across the first quarter of 2025.

I extend my appreciation for the hard work and commitment demonstrated over the past year. On behalf of myself and the entire leadership team, I wish you and your families a happy and safe holiday season and a well-earned break. I look forward to seeing you all again in 2025.
